My Roller Coaster Ride
It's like a roller coaster ride,
This life of mine.

At 20 year old, my daughter's birth was a high.
And it just kept getting better from there.

Until one day, to my surprise,
my daughter began to fall behind.
From this day forward,
we've had our ups and downs,
Some milestones being met,
While other lag behind.

So we finally decided to get her all checked out,
At 2 1/2 years of age,
a diagnoses of Autism,
I take all the blame.

What did I do wrong?
Was it something I eat?

I will never know.
But I do know,
Everything happens for a reason,
And she's heaven sent.
